Each year on 11 November at 11:00am, moodi Smart Automation can help your venue observe the traditional two minute silence for Remembrance Day.

At the appointed time, your moodi system will:

• Play a short announcement in advance, letting customers know the silence is about to begin.
• Automatically pause background music and other scheduled audio across your venue at 11am.
• Play a brief message afterwards to mark the end of the silence and resume your usual audio.

These Remembrance Day settings repeat automatically every year in line with your venue’s configuration, so once enabled you don’t have to remember to change anything annually.

For venues that also wish to mark Remembrance Sunday, optional support is available in the settings. This is switched off by default, allowing you to enable it only if it’s appropriate for your location and trading pattern.
